Some of the new popular approaches to advertising a business are ways that are creative, innovative, and unconventional. In an age where the internet and social media are the quickest ways to provide information and reach out to consumers, the business card industry has stepped up its game. For instance, this is not just an awesomely tiny little yoga mat, it is also a business card! Almost every aspect of the card creates the sure possibility to attract potential clientele, yoga aficionados, and people who simply enjoy collecting cool business cards. The design and layout of the information is clear, simple, clean, and stands out without being too ostentatious. The designer chose a typeface and colors that capture the calming essence of yoga. The typeface is modern, readable, and is light in weight; although it has a geometric characteristic, it is not too harsh and instead is quite inviting. The color blue is one successful characteristic that causes the business card to be an effective attention grabber. Like yoga, the color blue is cool, calming, and obtains a sense of fluidity. It is unsure if it is intentional or not, but the view of the "spiral" when the business card is rolled up bares a striking resemblance to the company's logo, which is also spiral-like; intentional or not, it creates a pleasant surprise/happy accident.
