Blossom

This charming design of Cava's Blossom Sparkling Wine bottle takes the traditional dinner party gift(s)- a bottle of wine and/or a bouquet of flowers- and transforms it into "an intelligent way to give more." The design of the bottle functions as a "2-in-one" gift. When the bottle is upright, it appears "unextraordinary;" the image of the flowers may simply be perceived as generic colorful and decorative elements, but it is quite on the contrary. The designer seemed to have studied every aspect of the wine bottle, especially its shape because when flipped upside down, the shape of the bottle resembles the general shape of a bouquet of flowers, which is what it ultimately "transforms" into. The text is also purposely printed upside down to favor the design of the flower bouquet to help consumers decipher the "second gift." The neck of the bottle also functions as a practical handle to present the surprise of an "extra gift." By choosing to use flowers in the design of the package is a clever tactic to help consumers remember the the brand/type of wine- Blossom; some customers may even casually refer to it as "the flower bouquet wine." The choice to use a colorful bouquet of tulips against a white background portrays a sparkling wine that is both sweet, refreshing and best for the spring or summer time.
